As Celtic grapples with a growing list of injuries, goalkeeper Joe Hart remains optimistic about the team’s ability to face upcoming challenges against St Johnstone and The Rangers.

His confidence comes as a breath of fresh air amid concerns about the squad’s depth and readiness for crucial matches.

“Yeah, we have injuries but you go through these patches,” Hart said in the Daily Record. “In my time here, we’ve had moments when we’ve literally too many guys and not enough training pitches and then we’ve had moments when we’ve had to adapt and put people in other positions.”

Hart drew on past experiences to underline the team’s resilience, recalling the first time Celtic won the League Cup during his tenure. “It makes me smile to think back to the first time we won the League Cup in my time, with the team we put out and the subs we brought on. So, we’ve got a deep resolve. We’re all in it for the good and looking to push forward.”

The veteran goalkeeper’s comments come at a time when Celtic fans are anxious about the team’s preparedness, especially with key players sidelined due to injuries. However, Hart’s optimism serves as a reminder that adversity often brings out the best in teams, fostering a “deep resolve” that can be crucial in high-stakes matches.

As Celtic prepares to face St Johnstone and The Rangers, Hart’s confidence could prove infectious, galvanising a squad that has been hit hard by injuries but remains determined to succeed. With a “deep resolve” and a collective aim to “push forward,” Celtic may yet rise to the occasion, defying the odds and silencing the doubters.
