Josip Juranovic has sent a heartfelt message to the Celtic support after his exit was confirmed from the club on Sunday afternoon.

The Croatian ended his 18 months at the club, signing with Union Berlin. The defender will now ply his trade in the Bundesliga after helping Celtic get back to the top of Scottish football.

There has been a universal acceptance of JJ’s exit, mainly because Celtic had made sure they already had a replacement lined up in Alistair Johnston.

Josip has a SPFL and a league cup medal to his name while at the club. He would even earned another medal should Celtic go on and win the league due to the games he’s played this term.

The Croatian is the first Ange Postecoglou signing to head out the door. Ange spoke about a new phase and knew some of the big hitters would have to leave.

We wish Josip all the best in the Bundesliga.
