Celtic are in Scottish Cup quarter-final action tonight to take on Dundee United at Tannadice while looking to secure their place in the last four of the competition. Ange Postecoglou made four changes from the side that beat Livingston in the league just over a week ago.

Josip Juranovic, Reo Hatate, Matt O’Riley and Giorgos Giakoumakis started the game with Nir Bitton, Anthony Ralston and Tom Rogic dropping to the bench.

The big question hanging over tonight’s team was the absence of Jota and Abada. The most recent meeting between the two clubs was a league game at Celtic Park at the end of January and it was Abada’s last-minute winner that gave the Hoops a 1-0 win.

In his pre-match interview on Celtic TV, this is the reason Ange Postecoglou gave for the absence of his two match-winning wingers.

“You obviously always looking to set up the team for the challenges of the day. We’ve got a couple, Jota and Abada, who wasn’t available for today but will be alright for the weekend. “The other changes we made because we feel like hopefully, they’ll help us in the game today.”

Celtic currently lead 1-0 at Tannadice.
