Then, days after visiting the pub, he netted the goal against The Rangers that saw Celtic progress to the final of the Scottish Cup.

Rocking the retro bumblebee shirt, again, something Celtic fans went crazy for, Jota admitted the passion oozed out of the fans that he spoke to.

Speaking during Friday’s press conference, Jota said: [Celtic FC]

“It was actually pretty decent.

“I think it was not the full experience as I went there in the morning. So there weren’t a lot of people there.

“But the people who were there were definitely passionate about Celtic and I could see that.

“It was just fun to be around these iconic people in this iconic place and just to find out a bit more about the culture of the club and the past.

“We are doing something so the next generation can be here as well. It was very good to be around this kind of environment.”

The Portuguese winger is totally engrossed by Celtic, he loves everything about it. He speaks very highly of the club, and is always keen to engage with the fans.

Visiting the Brazen Head in the manner that he did, wearing an iconic Celtic shirt, showed his love for the club was on a whole new level.

Hopefully, just as he did last derby, he can score an important goal for the Hoops on Saturday.
