Karamoko Dembele and co are playing Clyde tonight in the City of Glasgow Cup this evening in Dumbarton.
There’s no Lee O’Connor in the starting XI however with his loan move to Partick Thistle confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.
Luca Connell also gets a start with Barry Coffey beside him in the midfield. Armstrong Oko-Flex has to settle for a place on the bench.
Dembele played in Celtic’s defeat against Cluj in what was basically a training match for the first team. Other than that, the winger has played 45 minutes of SPFL football at the end of last season.
There is some great talent in the young side. Tonight’s game kicks off at 7pm.
Celtic will be looking to show what they can do and make sure the reports back to Neil Lennon are positive. There’s so much competition for places in the first team squad as a whole and nobody is going to get there unless they earn it.
