John Kennedy spoke post-match against Livingston about the Celtic squad mentality when struggling in games.

After a poor first half on the artificial pitch, many could have been forgiven for thinking that Celtic would have struggled in the second, but that simply was not the case, and Kennedy highlighted the positive mental strength at the club currently.

Kennedy said: [Sky Sports] “Again, as the game goes on, we know it will open up, so it’s easy, especially this time of the season, to get drawn into chasing something, doing something we’re not used to. We just continue to do what we do, and that’s what the players know.

“You can see that in the second half, the calmness of them, that ability to maintain pressure, and eventually, they break down, and we get a goal. So, that’s important for us.”

With only seven league games remaining, Celtic know what they have to do: win the rest of their games, and they win the league.

With the gauntlet firmly thrown down, the Hoops look to be up for the fight, despite doubts a couple of months ago that they were slipping out of the title race rapidly.
