NEIL LENNON has told the Celtic support Leigh Griffiths is still a bit away from being fit and he expects the striker to rejoin first team training next week.
After that, Leigh will have to get match for before he is considered for selection again.
The frontman hasn’t played a game for Celtic since late August when he came on as a substitute against Hearts.
A lack of fitness and a string of bad luck has left the player on the sidelines cutting short his comeback.

If all goes well the player should be ready to play a part before the end of the year. November and December are very busy months for the bhoys and Edouard will need some help. Bayo is there but Leigh’s guarantee of goals is missing at the moment and something the team needs.
Hopefully, Leigh can get fit and stay fit for the foreseeable future.
