Celtic have reportedly put in a bid for FC Twente midfielder Lindon Selahi according to Sports Ekspres in the player’s home country.

The 21-year-old came through the Anderlecht youth system and has played for Standard Liege before moving to FC Twente.

The player has one-year left on his current deal so his price won’t be through the roof.

It has been reported by the Albanian outfit that Celtic have made a bid for the young midfielder.

Lindon ticks a lot of the boxes Celtic look for in a signing; a young player who can come in, learn, play then be sold on for profit down the line.

Celtic appear to be in the market for another midfielder which suggests one of their current crop of central players might be on their way this summer. With the league starting in August, Neil Lennon doesn’t have a lot of time to shape his team before then but the transfer window is likely to stay open until early September.
