HUGH Keevins had a “shocker” on Clyde 1 Super Scoreboard on Saturday afternoon, while Celtic were playing Motherwell.
Celtic had got a “get out of jail free card”, as Hugh said when Luis Palma opened the scoring in the 87th minute. But, Motherwell soon equalised and Celtic were looking like they would have to share the points.
Hugh Keevins was delivering his assessment of the match, describing it as a “shocker of a day for Celtic and Ibrox is starting to rock again”.
Then, just as the pundit had finished Matt O’Riley knocked one in for Celtic, and celebrated the winning goal in the 97th minute.
In fairness to Hugh, every Celtic fan was saying the same thing, with the game so late on. But, you think he would’ve learned by now that Celtic ‘never give up’, as Matt O’Riley and Luis Palma said on their social media posts.
I’ve lost count of how many times Hugh Keevins has delivered his assessments, slagging the result/performance just to have a last-minute goal go against him.
It’s great listening, and will definitely bring a smile to your face!
