Matt O’Riley was the hero as Celtic ended the day further clear at the top of the SPFL.
The draw between Kilmarnock and St Mirren saw Celtic push four points clear, meanwhile, they extended their gap with their rivals after former Celtic man Barry Robson guided his Aberdeen side to a 3-1 win at Ibrox.
After Luis Palma scored in the 87th minute, he thought he had won the match for Celtic. But, Motherwell equalised in the 96th minute, and it looked like Celtic would have to share the points.
But Matt O’Riley got on the end of a lovely ball from Greg Taylor and made no mistake in finding the back of the net in the 97th minute, something which caused carnage in the away end.
Brendan Rodgers also enjoyed the goal, as he was videoed running down the touchline.
Matt O'Riley's winner in the 97th minute yesterday.
Check Brendan Rodgers (bottom right) running on to the pitch and towards the team. Very unlike him to get so carried away 😂🍀 pic.twitter.com/PCk43R84HC

Thanks to the Motherwell fan for filming and posting this footage!
It was a big will for Celtic at the time, but at the back of 5, the win was even bigger as results from around the grounds started to reach us.
That’s a brilliantly funny video……Listening to the hun in the back ground !
Not a Hun in the background, just a very disappointed well fan.
Well played good football, they were actually far better against The Rangers but somehow lost.
Well gave Celtic a massive fright and deserved a point from the game.
Round of applause to Motherwell & their fans.
Stuart Kettlewell is doing a good job.
Keep going Motherwell, a strong possibility of being well in their this season with your performances, crack the goal scoring habit and you will have an amazing team.
That’s from a Celtic fan.
Pat on the head for your diplomacy. Now trot on !
