This season, we have had many signs as to how far we have fallen from grace this season. For me though, we may have got our biggest one yet yesterday.

As quoted by the Glasgow Times, Livingston boss David Martindale revealed his disappointment at the fact his side didn’t pick up all three points yesterday.

“I’ve never had the feeling of leaving Parkhead disappointed we didn’t win so it’s probably a bit strange,” he said.

“We’ve been here and got a draw before, but potentially we had a fantastic opportunity to get three points today.

“I’ll try not to dwell on the negatives. We’ve come to Celtic Park and got a point, we’re still unbeaten and we got a clean sheet.”

First off, it must be said this is no way any disrespect to Livingston. They are one of the most inform teams in the league in recent months and Martindale has got them playing some impressive stuff.

However, when coming to Celtic Park no manager should be coming away disappointed at not winning the game like that.

It shows how far things have come down this season for the Hoops, who would be expected to blow sides like Livi away when playing at home in years gone by.

Now supporters are worried going into every game if we will be capable of picking up the three points.

It’s such a sorry state of affairs at the moment and something needs to be done to change the club completely.

  1. Not that the support really care, nobody is scared in the slightest of losing their job at Paradise. But have they thought of blooding anyone from the ladies team? So time to at least look like some cash is about to get spent on players. Rather than filling all the empty spaces in the squad with more dross. Getting to look like a friendly each time the Hoops hide behind their crest. Pick what’s good and build from there. As yesterday Celtic played (like usual) for a draw, at even struggled to get one, the spark of inventive, passionate, total football left with Saint Brendan.
