CELTIC have today missed out on David Turnbull but they look like they’re about to land another young midfielder in Luca Connell who has been pictured at Celtic Park this afternoon.
The image of the Bolton youngster has been shared on social media this afternoon and it appears Peter Lawwell among others is showing the Irishman around the stadium.
The Bolton player has been a target for Celtic over the past month and he recently mentioned it would be an honour to play for the club.
Bolton are currently in administration and any deals have to go through club administrators. There is confusion over how much Celtic would have to pay to land the Irish starlet with it unclear if FIFA compensation rules apply in the player’s case.
If Celtic only have to pay a FIFA development fee it will only be a very nominal low expenditure to grab a guy the Ireland setup believe is going to be a big star.
