TIMO WEAH looked on his way to French side Lille just a couple of weeks ago but a new link has emerged for the former Celtic loan star.

In what would be certainly following in his father’s footsteps, it has been reported by SunSport that Milan is now a viable destination for the PSG player.

Weah to Celtic would have been an option this summer had Weah and Neil Lennon not had words after the player refused to miss the USA’s opening World Cup match to feature for Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final. Neil Lennon sent Weah packing after the American made his decision just two days before their visit to Ibrox where he may have started after Mikey Johnstone was given a run in the side after the player’s departure.

There was always the possibility of the player staying at Celtic longer but with Neil Lennon as manager, it looks like a deal that won’t happen.

Could Milan be his next destination?
