Neil Lennon has demanded that there will be an internal probe after Celtic’s team news was leaked onto social media on Friday night, before the game.

Many were shocked to see twitter users suggest that Stephen Welsh was the starting 11 but when the team line-ups were announced this news appeared to be true.

As reported by the Daily Record, Lennon showed his anger around the situation really how us unhappy and that ’someone is letting us down’

”You’ve no idea. I don’t want to comment but we’ll deal with it.

“Really not happy. Someone is letting us down.”

This isn’t the first time this sort of thing has happened in the last few years and is actually quite regular, week on week.

There is clearly someone from within the club leaking information to people well before it should be revealed to the public.

As much as we love to hear the team news as early as possible, it’s clearly not a good thing and has to be stopped now.

  1. First of all,i don’t understand why anyone wants to know the team selection early. There was a time when players were told not long before the game if they were playing or not.
If they’re prepped and briefed properly to know their function in the team, should they be selected, then that solves most leak problems.
I sometimes wonder if Lennon can distinguish between improvisation and experimentation too. Mostly i think not.
