NEIL LENNON was relatively happy with his side’s victory in Sarajevo on Tuesday night after watching the team come from a goal down to win 3-1 on the night.

There were some negatives in the way of injuries on the night and Neil has done his best to let fans know about the current state of play.

Boli Mbombo and Mikey Johnston both limped off in the second half and James Forrest was subbed with fifteen minutes to go.

It’s a case of wait and see for the Celtic manager as he confirms why the three players has been taken off.

“Mikey felt a twinge in his quad so hopefully it’s not too serious. Boli rolled his ankle in the first half and it got progressively worse.” He told CelticTV.

“James was fatigue more than anything else so I didn’t want to take any chances with him.

“I don’t think we’re too stretched on that side of things hopefully.”

Celtic take on Sarajevo next Wednesday in the second leg and hopefully the injured pair have shaken off these knocks to be in contention for the home leg.

Mikey was brilliant for Celtic in Bosnia and will not want to give up his place next week.
