NEIL Lennon has urged the Celtic support to shake of the Tuesday night defeat to Cluj and look forward to the start of Celtic’s League Cup defence against Dunfermline.

The Irishman watched his side throw away their Champions a League prospects on more than one occasion against Cluj and the aftermath of the defeat has left a bitter taste for many reasons.

Celtic fans have not reacted this bad to a result in years and it’s been a build up of many decisions taken by the board, our chief executive and even our manager.

But Neil Lennon stressed the importance of continuing the top start to our domestic season which has seen the Bhoys bang in 12 goals in just two games.

“We have to get over the disappointment, look forward to tomorrow and build from where we are. We’ve had a magnificent start, scoring a lot of goals and have been playing brilliant football.” Lennon told CelticTV.

Neil’s not wrong in what he’s saying but some fans won’t thank him for what he’s said here.

Celtic fans will remember last seasons start to the SPFL when we scored just seven goals in the opening seven games. On the domestic front, we have made a better start. We can’t let the Cluj game derail our domestic momentum.
