With three kits already in playing use this season and one that has yet to be worn on the park, one would think it unnecessary for Celtic to release another. It seems as though that could be the case, though.

Account Footy Headlines is ever-reliable regarding leaks of shirts and the like. On Twitter (X) late on Friday evening, they posted a picture of the Celtic, Manchester United, and Arsenal badges. They were blacked out and captioned with a ‘soon’ emoji:

All three of the clubs in the picture have their kits manufactured by Adidas. Put two and two together and one may assume that the German sportswear brand could be lining up a blackout release of kits and/or gear across these teams.

Already this season, the Celtic support has spent copious amounts on jerseys, training wear, jackets, and more. This tease of yet more releases will certainly burn the pockets of supporters.

It will be intriguing to see what Adidas have in store, though. Their Celtic gear up to this point has been passable, and blackout wear always seems to go down well.
