A picture has emerged of Celtic striker Vakoun Bayo holding up a Toulouse top in France with confirmation of the deal set to come through any moment.

The frontman has found game time and fitness hard to come by at Celtic Park and will try his hand in French Ligue 2. There’s no word if the deal is a loan or permanent one at the moment but his exit leaves room for Celtic to bring in Albian Ajeti from West Ham.

Celtic have been looking to offload Bayo since the start of the summer and free up a vita space in the squad. Odsonne Edouard, Patryk Klimala and Leigh Griffiths are all ahead of the striker for game time.

Vakoun was signed by Celtic under the Brendan Rodgers regime and will be another flop signing added to the list of Congerton approved players. We believe Kolo Toure also had a hand in the striker coming into the club before they all left three months after they signed him.
