We now know Celtic’s full pre-season plans under Ange Postecoglou after Winer Viktoria became the final piece of the jigsaw.

Last week we reported Rapid Vienna would be playing the club on the July 9, even though this hasn’t been communicated by Celtic themselves, the company organising the tour had it on their website.

Viktoria announced a friendly with Celtic next week on their website, finally allowing Celtic fans to know exactly how pre-season would look.

Full pre-season card:

6th July – SC Wiener Viktoria (A)
9th July – Rapid Vienna (A)
13th July – Banik Ostrava (A)
16th July – Blackburn Rovers (H)
20th July – Legia Warsaw (A)
23rd July – Norwich City (H)

All games will be shown live on Celtic TV with a couple of the games finding their way onto Premier Sports.

As always, pre-season games will be a chance for the bhoys to get match sharp ahead of the new season and give Ange Postecoglou the chance to look at some fringe players who he feels could contribute next term.

The bhoys are back in pre-season training this morning. The players who won’t return today will be the bhoys who have been out on international duty.
