This season there has been a lot of talk around season tickets for the 2020/21 campaign, with the words ‘added value’ coming to mind instantly.

Ahead of this weekends return to action, many fans would have been hoping that we could get some extra added value on the season ticket with the ability to watch our Scottish Cup tie against Falkirk.

However, it appears that will not be the case and fans will need to purchase Premier Sports to watch the 3rd round Scottish Cup fixture.

This morning, Celtic SLO JP Taylor confirmed that Premier had not allowed the club to purchase the rights to show fans this on their season tickets.

Earlier in the season, fans were able to do this in what ended up being an extremely poor game, in the Hoops early cup exit to Ross County at Celtic Park.

It is disappointing to see that in order to watch the game, supporters will need to pay for yet another TV service, added on to the current season tickets and Sky Subscription which most will likely be paying to see the majority of away games.
