OLIVIER NTCHAM has made it clear that he wants out of the club this summer speaking to French publication L’equipe.

The midfielder had a less than impressive season with the club and we may just be finding out why with his comments on a failed Porto transfer.

Ntcham has a good first season, followed by a poor season and he’s blaming the quality of the SPFL for his lack of progression.

The player would like a move to a bigger league now where he wants to ‘blossom’.

Having given the central midfielder another contract to appease him last summer after rejecting the Porto deal, the club hold all the cards and will be looking for big bids to let him go.

“Celtic has given me a lot, but it’s the best solution for my development. We can do as many matches as we want but, with all due respect for my opponents, if the level in front is not high, you do not progress.” He told L’equipe as cited by RecordSport.

“I was really disappointed not to have gone to Porto last summer.

“The interest of the Marseille? It is flattering. It is a very big club with very big support. If I went to Marseille, I would blossom, I have always signed for clubs with lots of fans.”

Celtic fans don’t take kindly to players doing what Olivier has done to try and work a move. There will be no tears shed for the midfielder’s exit, should it come.
