The Celtic right-back saga roles on but speculation on one player is set to be put to bed.
Yan Couto who was said to be at Celtic Park on Thursday last week to take in the Jablonec game is closing in on a season long loan move to Braga according to the Herald.
Couto was on Celtic’s radar but not many fans were thrilled with Celtic potentially signing the 19-year-old on loan when we need more experience and a full time permanent right back.
So if you weren’t happy about a potential loan move for the Manchester City youngster then you’ll be delighted to see him head off to Braga instead.
Over the past 24 hours, Celtic have been heavily linked with bringing in Josip Juranovic from Legia Warsaw. [Check out our video below for more information on the player on our youtube.]
The journalist who broke the story last week has claimed things are progressing well for Josip who wants the move to Celtic.
?BOOOM!?
?Update: Juranovic to @CelticFC. Things are progressing nicely, it seems like transfer fee will be somewhere around €3.0m – €4.0m. Celtic will send 2nd formal offer tommorow. Juranovic wants to join @CelticFC this summer.

It’s a position the club need to fill and getting the right man in will be a giant piece of the puzzle. Can we get this one over the line?
