MARIAN SHVED is a name from the not so distant Celtic past. A winger, signed by Celtic’s scouting team who never got going in the green and white hoops.

On Saturday night, Marian hooked up with another former Celt in Belgium. The Ukrainian lined up in the Mechelen starting XI with none other than Boli Bolingoli.

Both players were in the side to take on Oostende who just happen to have Celtic loanee Osaze Urhoghide in their ranks.

Osaze and Oostende came out the winners. The game finished 2-1 with Boli Bolingoli coming off at half time.

Osaze played the full game, his return to Belgium to sealed last week when Ange Postecoglou made it clear Urhoghide was not in his plans at Celtic.

Oostende have an option to buy the former Sheffield Wednesday player at the end of the season. It’s clear the defender doesn’t have a future at Celtic under Ange. The option to buy Oostende hold makes that very clear.
