Celtic fans have been warned not to congregate outside Celtic Park if the Glasgow Derby goes ahead in around ten days time.
There are still question marks over the game being played after the shocking scenes at the weekend courtesy of our Glasgow rivals.
Glasgow Live report on a Celtic graphic doing the rounds urging fans to turn up to make sure rival fans don’t turn up at Celtic Park and try to do damage.
The graphic is very poorly constructed and clearly made by someone who is not even comfortable with windows paint. NO Celtic group, site or podcast have backed anything of the sort or encouraged anything along these lines.
Police Scotland were asked to comment on the graphic and warned Hoops fans to stay away.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are aware of these reports circulating online, however we would strongly remind everyone that in line with current Scottish Government coronavirus regulations, all gatherings are currently prohibited and we would urge members of the public to comply with these restrictions.”
Everyone should be complying with the restrictions to keep everybody safe in the current climate. It’s why scenes at the weekend were so galling and the passiveness of Police Scotland was as equally as infuriating.
We hope the game goes ahead and we really hope both sets of fans stay at home.
Call me what you want but,I’ve every suspicion that it was more than likely it has its origins of a sevco fan.
They’d love nothing more than to drag our fans down to their level,if anyone sees it differently well,that’s their choice.
We also have R.Soles in our support thankfully nowhere near as many as they do percentage wise.
My money is on that lot being the author of said message and I’ve not seen it but seemingly it’s not very well done,that’s why I believe that lot are the original posters of the message.
Why are they asking the Celtic fans to stay away,apart from the protest which was not a football game no celtic fans have approached any football game that has taken place at Celtic park this season to my knowledge.Now the other lot im not so sure about, they think, that they are oblivious to the laws of the land and can run roughshod over the police whom more than half of support them anyway their fellow brothers!!!.
You mean other than the Ross county game that the protest was about?
I hope the season gets ended before the game. I can’t take anymore of the crap this bunch of layabouts are giving us.
I’ll be fine if I never see any of them in a Celtic shirt again.
I’m sure I saw drones being used by Scot squad. Celtics management has saw first hand how the Hoops supporters complain. Just put a nice double security fence at the main stand. And get more fuzz to guard that. Lock the big gates and have more fuzz in their vans in front of them (watching the game on the phone no doubt) And use their squacky talkies for communication. Ohh and a helicopter as well. It can monitor both the M8 and Duke Street for felons, and large groups of elephants with sevco or burst tops on and masks.
Interesting, they get a police escort from ipox to George Square, and we get a warning. Sort of shows you where “plods” allegiance is.
