New Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou could be looking to raid his former side, Yokohama F. Marinos, as the Hoops look to kick off the transfer window this summer.

As reported by Glasgow Live, Marinos striker Ado Onaiwu has been linked to a move to Celtic just 24 hours after Postecoglou was announced as the club’s new permanent manager.

Onaiwu is entering the final six months of his deal with the Japanese side, so the former Australian National boss will likely be well aware of his situation there and if he could be interested in making a move to Glasgow.

The 25-year old scored 10 goals in 16 games this season and could now be in line to make his debut for his national side against Serbia after being called up to the Japanese squad.

Of course, the Japanese league is very much an unknown identity to the majority of Scottish fans. So, it would be more of an unknown signing in terms of what a player like Onaiwu could bring to the table.
