ANGE POSTECOGLOU has been named the Premiership manager of the month for the months of September and October.

It goes down as one award, though, with just two rounds of fixtures played in the month of September. It’s the Aussie’s second award of the season after Celtic’s 100% start saw him named the award winner for August.

It’s Postecoglou’s seventh manager of the month award since he arrived in Scotland last summer. Not bad for a manager who was supposed to be sacked last Christmas!

Postecoglou’s team performed consistently, picking up 18 points from a possible 21. The only time Celtic have dropped points this season was in Paisley when it was a bad day at the office for Celtic against St Mirren.

He will need a bigger cabinet in his house. He is winning them for fun these days. He’s also close to running out of things to say in the Open Goal interviews, with the Podcast interviewing the recipients of the awards.
