Kristoffer Ajer is being linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer and according to SunSport Norwich have been watching the Norwegian over the past few months.
The Canaries are heading back to the Premier League and will be looking to spend some decent money to bolster their squad.
However, is Kristoffer Ajer above Norwich already? I would say so.
The defender should be able to get a bigger club should he leave Celtic this summer. Although, Norwich would certainly have enough money to land the player.
Ajer has been one of Celtic’s best players this season. Even though he has been looking for a move away, the centre-back has done well and never looked like he was phoning it in.
Unless someone at the club can convince the big man to sign a new deal, it’s likely Celtic will cash in on him.
Norwich might be a stepping stone into the Premier League but you would think by now major English clubs should know we have some top players within our ranks who they can get for a decent price by Premier League standards.
Football League have Ajer sitting at £12kpw at Celtic, surely they’d quadruple his wages if he did make the move.
