Celtic celebrated the one year anniversary of Neil Lennon taking charge of the club after Brendan Rodgers left us high and dry.

It’s been a year since the Irishman came in and had a quick turnaround before playing Hearts at Tynecastle; a game that would go down to the wire but a late Edouard goal sealed all three points.

Celtic haven’t really looked back since. The League was won, the Scottish Cup was won and the treble treble was delivered! Neil Lennon was given the job minutes after the cup final by Peter Lawwell in a shower room at Hampden.

Many supporters wanted to see a higher profile appointment after Lenny had come in and done the business from February onwards. Having had his time at Celtic as a manager there was genuine disappointment among SOME of the support.

It was Neil Lennon’s job to win them around all over again and he’s done that in a big way so far. Celtic fans are delighted to be proven wrong on this and since the turn of the year we’ve seen Neil’s experience at this level shine through.
