ALAN BRAZIL has claimed that Ange Postecoglou is penning a new deal at Celtic, amid links to the vacant Leeds United job.
The TalkSport pundit famously mocked Postecoglou’s appointment just over 18 months ago, asking if it was a “wind up” while he was in hysterics. Less than two years later, he’s talking about a possibility of a Premier League club trying to appoint the manager.
Live on air on Friday morning, Alan Brazil claimed to have got a text from an unnamed source that should end all links for the foreseeable future.

“I’ve just had a text and I’ll not say who from but Ange Postecoglou is going to sign a new contract at Celtic, he’s going nowhere.”
Postecoglou is currently on a rolling deal, it would be nice to see the club make a statement and offer the manager a long-term contract. It’s the least he deserves after the success he brought back to the club, and he is looking likely to win back-to-back leagues.
It would also cover the club if another team did come in for him, giving them a good compensation fee.
