In a less than surprising turn of events it looks like Celtic are looking to loan their defender Jack Hendry our after his loan spell in Australia didn’t go to plan.

Hendry played two games down under before a horrible injury ended his season. The shutdown stopped the former Dundee man from making any sort of impact.

He returns to Celtic but even though the club have just released Jozo Simunovic, it appears Hendry isn’t in Neil Lennon’s plans.

According to RecordSport, Belgian side Oostende have approached the club about taking Jack on loan for the entirety of next season.

If the club allows the move, they would be clearly just running down the centre-back’s contract until they release him.

Joining under Brendan Rodgers, for whatever reason, the move from Dundee hasn’t worked out. Jack will be desperate to prove himself at somewhere he can get more game time.
