Well, you couldn’t have made this up before it happened but New York City FC’s social media team posted a picture on Thursday evening which will make a lot of Celtic fans smile.
The image? Just Ronny Deila and Gary Mackay-Steven having a chat during a New York City training session!

GMS left Aberdeen to move to the states a while back and even attended Celtic’s charity dinner in Manhattan last year alongside Neil Lennon and other prominent Celtic figures.
Ronny Deila just recently took up the Head Coach role for the MLS side and by a twist of fate the former Celtic pair make an unlikely US duo.
Two of the good guys and while ultimately they both moved on there’s not many fans who will say a bad word about either.
We wish them the best for the upcoming MLS season.
