Celtic have a predicament of their own making with regards to Ryan Christie.
Someone, in their infinite wisdom, allowed Ryan to sign a deal that would see the midfielder’s contract end half way through the season.
The midfielder’s contract will run out at the end of December at which point he’ll be free to play for anyone who wants to sign him.
Celtic could look to get a small fee for the Scottish international this summer and according to Record Sport — Crystal Palace could be set to bring Ryan down to London.
The report, written by Scott McDermott, claims Patrick Vieira has been a keen admirer of Christie ever since seeing him play against Rennes in France two years ago. Vieira was the manager at Nice at the time and there has been rumours of Nice being interested in Ryan.
It looks like Vieira is going to be the next Palace manager and wants to sign Ryan as one of his first deals for the London outfit.
If Ryan wants to leave then there’s not much we can do.
