RANGERS STAR Fashion Sakala had been doing a lot of talking before the match at Hampden on Sunday.
The player had claimed his side were far better than Celtic, and that they would run out victorious.
Well, that never happened.
On the day, Celtic showed their superiority as they lifted their first trophy of the season, and the third of the Ange Postecoglou reign, doing their talking on the park as the captain said they would.
A brace from Kyogo gave Celtic a two-goal lead and was enough for the Hoops to lift the trophy, despite The Rangers late push.
What was even funnier is Sakala missing an open goal in the second half that would have drawn his team level. The striker bottled it after so much talking off the park.
Celtic did their talking on the park, facing very little challenge from the opposition.
The loss will really hurt the Ibrox side and their manager, he publically said that because of the situation in the league, the cups were his priority. Now there is only the Scottish Cup for The Rangers to lose, with Celtic’s treble ambitions in full swing.
