The news broke on Monday evening about Scott Brown heading for the Celtic Park exit.

The Celtic Legend is coming to the end of his Hoops deal and although a new one-year deal is on the table, the uncertainty surrounding the new Celtic boss and what happens next has prompted Brown to make a difficult decision.

The timing of the Aberdeen offer is not ideal if Scott was to wait and see what happens at Celtic.

As it stands, it appears Stephen Glass has convinced the quadruple treble bhoy to join him as assistant manager at Pittodrie and new details have confirmed the player verbally accepted the offer AFTER Sunday’s Glasgow Derby game according to RecordSport.

It’s a strange one, Scott played one of his better games of the season against out Glasgow rivals on Sunday but he’s been handed a concrete offer on Sunday night and looks to have pulled the trigger.

We’re uncertain if Scott will be a player coach at this point, seeing the Celtic legend come up against the Hoops next season in red would be a very strange one.
