CELTIC take on Motherwell at the weekend with another valuable three points up for grabs.

There’s a full SPFL card on Saturday and the bhoys are looking to make up ground in the league.

The Hoops have had their ups and downs this season but they’ve also been subject to some horrendous referee displays that have helped contribute to some dismal results.

It’s not an excuse but it’s a needless issue Celtic need to overcome at times.

Given the old pal’s act at the SFA, Celtic continue to get the same referees making the same mistakes without any fear of repercussions.

It’s why the Hoops have yet again been landed with Willie Collum this weekend.

The whistler will be in charge of proceedings at Fir Park. It’s fair to say there’s not a lot of love for Willie from most SPFL sides, he has proven himself to be an erratic official.

As we talk about VAR coming into our game, I dread to think what it will look like in the hands of some of our part-time officials.

The game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
