VALENCIA FANS will NOT be backing their team in numbers when the Spaniards visit Celtic Park on Valentine’s Day with reports suggesting they have only taken up 300 briefs for the knockout tie.

This could be down to apathy from many in the support who seen their club already play in the Champions League this season. However, it’s quite unusual to see such a low turnout and it will be very different from the Leipzig fans support who brought their biggest ever Euro away day crowd to Parkhead in the Europa League game late last year.

Theres absolutely no doubt come the return leg Celtic fans will be travel to Spain in their thousands with or without a ticket to the game. The bhoys are always well supported when it comes to away days and Valencia will be no different.

It’s going to be a tough ask for Brendan Rodgers’ men to get through to the last 16; but with a sold out Celtic Park, they could just give themselves a chance!
