All good things must come to an end at some point and Scott Sinclair was certainly a good thing for Celtic for the past three years. His first season at the club was one of the best debut seasons for any Celtic player in a long time.

The winger bagged so many goals for Celtic and he played a huge part in the silverware over the past few seasons. It has been obvious since Neil Lennon took over that Sinclair is not in his plans. We have not heard too much from the player this season apart from been ready if called upon. That is until now, the Englishman has opened up on the last six months or so and is ready to leave Celtic Park.

He told the Daily Record:

“I just try to be professional. It’s very difficult to have done what I’ve done over the last three years and then all of a sudden be pushed to the side.”

“You come in every day and sometimes you’re not with the team, not travelling to games and not involved. Some days you are training with the reserves. That’s very difficult.”

Scott said he has not informed Neil Lennon of his desire to leave the club in January which will tell you all you need to know of their relationship. It is hard to believe that clubs are not lining up for the winger. He still has a lot to offer and hopefully he can get a move that suits him and gets him a game every week.
