Celtic haven’t been at their best and that makes predicting the team a little more tricky. Earlier this season, it was pretty easy to know who Neil Lennon was going to go with; give or take a player.

With pride more than anything at stake tonight against Sparta Prague, Neil Lennon must get the balance of his side right.

Here is how we think the manager will line up for the early evening kick-off.

Barkas; Laxxalt, Jullien, Ajer, Elhamed; Brown, McGregor, Rogic; Christie, Moi, Edouard.

We are trying to second guess the manager here and if he were to bring Barkas back into the fold, tonight would probably be the best opportunity, if he has a good game, he’d roll onto the Ross County and beyond.

Jullien is just back from a lengthy layoff, there’s every chance he starts on the bench but we’d like to see him get a start and play at least an hour. With the cup game on Sunday, coming on from the bench tonight and then playing from the start against Ross County could be food for thought, but Celtic’s defence needs him.

Brown made a shocking error in the Hibs game, handing the home side a penalty. There’s nobody really to come in and replace him; David Turnbull could have been in with a shout but he has the virus and is isolating. Oli Ntcham could start ahead of Brown but it’s likely the captain starts.

Giving Frimpong a rest should be high on the agenda, we’d like to see the youngster be taken out of the limelight and recoup.
