KRIS COMMONS has backed The Rangers and the two other clubs who want an inquiry into how the SPFL proposal to end the season was handled.

There has been a lot of toys thrown out the pram by one club in particular over this. The Rangers continue to shout conspiracy when they’ve not been shafted in any way. Their desperate attempt to hide behind clubs in order to mask their real attempt to stop Celtic being crowned champions is laughable.

Kris Commons has backed the Ibrox clubs call for an independent investigation.

“I can’t imagine what Steven Gerrard really thinks about all this, having spent the majority of his career at one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

“Rangers — who have the backing of their boss — are one of at least three clubs wanting an independent investigation and I can’t blame them. Without a shadow of a doubt, there should be one.”

This has been shaped up as a Celtic vs The Rangers battle when in reality, Celtic have taken very little to do with it.

For what it’s worth, there’s no problem from this writer if the SPFL are held to accounts. The handling of the vote was amateur – the sinister suggestions of bullying however seem like moon howling.
