Celtic have not been as active as fans may have hoped so far this January. There have been no confirmed incoming to date which has left supporters concerned.
Now, a player the Hoops were previously linked with has admitted he is happy at his current club. That man is Bojan Miovski.
At the beginning of December, Celtic was said to be considering a move for the North Macedonian hitman, but he seems to be content at the Dons: “I still have two and a half years of contract with Aberdeen and to be honest I feel great”, he said (Daily Record). “I have been in Aberdeen for a year and a half and I am very satisfied and I also hope that the people in Aberdeen are happy with me too.”
It seems as though the 24-year-old is not keen to leave the northeast any time soon. This may be disappointing for Celtic but in attack, Brendan Rodgers has many formidable options.
Although Oh and Daizen Maeda are currently at the Asian Cup, Kyogo is a standout striker meanwhile Luis Palma offers creation out wide. Liel Abada is reliable for a goal contribution and it looks like more firepower could be added with Nicolas Kuhn’s potential arrival.
The former RB Leipzig, Ajax, and Bayern man looks to be a quick winger who can cut inside from the right on his left yet also flash dangerous balls across goal. It wouldn’t be surprising if he was the only attacking arrival to Parkhead this month, but one should never shut the door.
