Celtic now know they’ll need to pay a fee for Bayern Munich youngster Christopher Scott if they want to secure his signature this summer.
Celtic have been linked with Scott this week but so have a whole host of other clubs who are looking bring in the player who has been doing well for Bayern II.
It was thought the Bayern youngster would go for a free in the summer but RecordSport now report Bayern will trigger a one-year extension in Scott’s deal but will be happy to sell him this summer for the right price.
The same report from the Record claims it’ll take between £250-300k to land the playmaker.
Celtic will already be doing a lot of work behind the scenes in preparation for the summer. Ange will have been insisting on a less chaotic transfer window than when he first joined the club.
If we can get our ducks in a row early, it will stand the team in good stead for Europe and the start of the SPFL season.
