After dominance for the first 65 minutes, Celtic conceded a long range effort and the whole game plan crumbled.
There was hard to look at positives after the final fifteen minutes and we really should have dropped two points, the fact we didn’t was a positive.
One big positive many fans are taking is the performance of Celtic Pass man of the match Stephen Welsh.
The young defender had an assured game and dealt with most things that came his way.
It’s refreshing to see a defender command his area and look assured for the most part. Stephen took his early goal incredibly well and built on his performance from there.
Many fans thought the defender was well worth his man of the match award and want to see Neil Lennon continue with the youngster for the rest of the season.
We look like a bang average SPFL team at the minute, thank god for Laxalt, Taylor had a good game but Laxalt offers far more defensively, Elyounoussi would never be out my team, well done Stephen Welsh ???

Well done, Stephen Welsh!
Not damning with faint praise to say he was just about the only genuine positive from today.

Stephen Welsh has been very impressive. Hopefully him and Ajer are the centre half partnership for the rest of the season

It was a tougher win in the end than it should be, but it’s back to back wins for this team. We have to take as many positives as we can. Welsh gaining experience for the rest of this season could be invaluable next term.
