Former Celtic star Charlie Mulgrew had a nightmare for Dundee Utd on Saturday afternoon as they took on Sunderland in a pre-season friendly.

The former Celtic captain has done well for the Tannadice club since signing last season, however, he won’t want to watch this one back again.

The gare finished 2-0 to Sunderland at Tannadice, Trai Hume scoring a second half opener before Charlie’s wild pass back.

Jack Ross has taken over at the Dundee club this summer and will be looking to build on what Tam Courts did last season. The Arabs gained a top half finish and were steady performers in the SPFL.

Charlie has a sense of humour and will be getting ab it of a ribbing in the Dundee Utd dressing room for sure after that own goal.

If Mulgrew wants to do that while playing against Celtic this season, he’s more than welcome to add to his Hoops goal tally.
