KARAMOKO DEMBELE has endeared himself to his new side by bagging a last minute winner in a friendly on Saturday evening against FC Lorient.

The former Celtic prodigy left Parkhead in the summer in pursuit of first team football. French side Brest signed the winger to a long term deal.

Coming on as a second half sub for his new side, Karamoko won the game with a well placed shot.

Many fans were disappointed to see Karamoko go but it just didn’t work out for him at Celtic. Despite the obvious skill and talent, it didn’t manifest into first team opportunities.

Any chance the English youth international would have had under Ange Postecoglou went out the window when a pre-season injury last season ruled him out for most of the season. By the time Karamoko was fit, he was already half way out the door.

We wish him all the best for the future.
