It was a successful afternoon for Ange Postecoglou and his side, who continued their fine run of form with another three points against one of the form teams in the league on Saturday.

The Hoops scored three goals in the first half, with the scoring being rounded off by hat-trick hero Giorgos Giakoumakis from the penalty spot.

Of course, with Celtic’s relentless attacking play, it really could have been more on the afternoon, with several players missing the opportunity to extend the goal difference, but who are we to complain after a performance like that.

One side, which will have received many complaints, as it seems to do every week across Scottish Football, is the refereeing calls made during the game.

Referee for the day, Don Robertson, made the call during the 90 minutes to send off County defender Kayne Ramsey in the first-half, whilst also pointing to the spot in the second 45 minutes.

But a fourth goal could have come much sooner had the whistler made the correct call for an early handball claim.

The referee somehow misses the handball, as winger Jota looks to deliver a dangerous ball into the penalty area.

As we and the rest of Scottish Football knows, this isn’t an uncommon occurrence, with referees continuing to make high profile mistakes that could potentially cost sides during such a closely contested season up and down the table.

Thankfully, that wasn’t the case for us yesterday, given the nature of the game and how it turned out for Ange Postecoglou’s side in the end.

Ultimately, though, this continued frustration will linger as more and more calls are made wrong on a weekly basis.
