Celtic are back in action today in the SPFL after a long international break. Today’s clash with Livingston is a revenge mission as the only team to beat Celtic domestically this season visit Celtic Park.

Celtic have been prolific ever since that 0-2 loss, they are back on top of the league and have already qualified for European football in 2020 with two games to spare.

Someone else who has been prolific in front of goal has been French Eddy. It took him less than twenty minutes today to get on the score sheet with another classy finish.

Neil Lennon will be hoping his team can create some kind of goal cushion now so he can rest some players ahead of Thursday’s clash with Rennes in Glasgow. While it is mission completed so far in Europe for the Hoops, Lennon will want his team to finish top of their group.

With the games coming thick and fast between now and the Christmas period the Bhoys will need to be coming through all games with maximum points and hopefully no injuries or overly fatigued players.
