Celtic fans were in dreamland for 30 minutes in Seville tonight when Ajeti and Juranovic gave the Bhoys a rare 2 nil away lead.
As usual, the away daydream wasn’t long about turning into the usual nightmare. Two quickfire goals from Betis turned the game on its head and brought Celtic fans crashing back down to reality.
Joe Hart did need to make 2/3 decent saves before Betis eventually found a breakthrough but Celtic have had other chances in the game too.
Albian Ajeti was presented with a chance to shine with the exit of two Celtic strikers in the transfer window and an injury to Kyogo Furahashi. So far the Swiss international has grabbed his chance with both hands. He had a brace the weekend, scored tonight and won the Hoops a penalty that Juranovic tucked away.
GOAL for Celtic! ?
The Bhoys take the lead in Seville and @JohnHartson10 can't contain his excitement ?
Albian Ajeti's goal was mistakenly ruled out for handball but VAR awarded it…#UEL pic.twitter.com/RlnWkHJHfh

Ajeti was through on goal before a bad foul from the Betis keeper looked to have injured the Celtic striker but luckily he was ok to continue and Juranovic stepped up with plenty of confidence.
Juranovic goal.
What a story. Live watching this guy continue to grow. pic.twitter.com/tVNZKnayas

It is 2-2 at halftime and if any Celtic fan thought they were in for an easy ride when the Bhoys went two up you should have known better.
Shocking display from Celtic . Looked beat when 2-1 up. As soon as they pulled one back our bottle crashed and defeat was guaranteed. I hope Ange addresses this serious problem. We will win nothing until this weak ness is addressed.
