Despite being in the midst of one of the tightest title races in recent years, the mood at Celtic’s Lennoxtown training ground appears as relaxed as ever.

The Bhoys are preparing for a trip to Dundee on Sunday for the first of their hotly-anticipated post-split fixtures.

Ahead of the game, manager Brendan Rodgers spoke to the media on Friday and confirmed that Daizen Maeda will return soon. The gaffer was in a chipper mood, also joking about how he got on at kit-man Stevie in last weekend’s Scottish Cup semi-final.

It looked as though his upbeat mood transcended onto the players because, in a video that was posted on Celtic’s official TikTok account earlier in the day, Matt O’Riley could be seen hilariously turning on a sprinkler and soaking Yang and Luis Palma. The short clip can be viewed here.

During a run-in where tension is apparent and trophies are on the line, it is positive to see the Bhoys have some light-hearted moments.

Having a high team spirit is critical if trophies are to be won but the players understand that when they step out on the pitch, it is down to business, starting tomorrow at Dens Park.
