Celtic winger James Forrest has bagged his second goal of the game to put the Hoops 2-0 up against Dundee at Dens Park.

After Forrest quickly regained possession, Reo Hatate attempted to play the Scottish winger through on goal.

Following a miscommunication in the Dundee defence, the ball then yet again fell to Forrest in the box.

Who left Dundee goalkeeper Jon McCracken no chance by putting the ball through his legs in the 67th minute.

Forrest continues to show just how vital he has become in this Celtic side, yet again with an important goal.

With Daizen Maeda currently sidelined through injury, the Scotsman is arguably the first-choice winger when fully fit.

If Celtic can get both fully fit for next weekend’s match against Hearts, they will likely both start the match.

Both have proven time and time again that, despite not always being the most eye-catching to watch, they are undoubtedly effective in creating chances and scoring goals.

Nicolas Kuhn, Luis Palma, and Yang Hyun-jun have consistently been given chances to prove themselves as guaranteed first-team starters week in and week out.

However, they have ultimately failed to take their chances, meaning that Forrest and Maeda have shown greater consistency and goal threat.
