Celtic managed to dig in on Wednesday evening and come out with all three points after a spirited defensive display by St Mirren.

The bhoys could have made it easier for themselves if David Turnbull had scored from the spot in the first half when the game was at 1-1. However, Celtic should have had another penalty as they looked for that all important second goal.

A clip being shared on social media shows the moment kyogo is barged down cynically off the ball inside the box. Not dissimilar to the second penalty we saw at Ibrox at the weekend when the home side were desperate for a break.

How VAR has not gone back to look at this challenge is ridiculous.

Celtic managed to get the goal in the end with an emphatic finish from substitute Oh. However, had this not been the case, another poor decision could have meant Celtic dropped points.

Celtic fans can rightly feel aggrieved when this isn’t checked but there appear to be eagle eyes in the box in other grounds not to far from Celtic Park.
